About Brenda
Brenda was born in Wimbledon in England and immigrated to Australia with her family as a 'ten-pound pom' at the age of five. Brenda excelled at art as a student but chose to pursue a successful career in education for over thirty years. Throughout this time she yearned to pursue her creative talents and enjoyed drawing, painting, ceramics and various other art forms when time would allow.
In 2006 Brenda created her first elegant sculptural figure and was mesmerized by the possibilities of this new art form.
Discovering the great joy in creating graceful, elegant figures, Brenda has also been further delighted by the response from other people on seeing her work.
Brenda now lives in Darlington in the Perth Hills with her family, on a beautiful property complete with artist’s studio. Her husband, two sons, extended family and friends provide plenty of admiration and encouragement, which has given Brenda the belief to follow her dream of being a successful artist.
Brenda's studio is an inspiring place to create beautiful pieces of work from an enchanting, picturesque environment. Combining her teaching skills with her artistic talents, Brenda shows others how to create amazing, graceful sculptures. Anyone from a complete novice to a skilled artist can spend just one day with Brenda and create a very special piece of work.
